AI visibility

AI visibility is how often, and how prominently, an AI platform names your business when a buyer asks it a question in your category. The platforms are ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok.

Example

An interior design company in Dubai asks "Which interior design company in Dubai is good for villas?" on the five platforms. Three answers name the company, two do not. Its AI visibility on that question is 3 of 5. Across 5 questions on 5 platforms, 25 answers, named in 5 of them: a score of 20 out of 100.

On 7 October 2026, when we asked the five platforms "What are the best AI visibility tools in 2026?", the answers named 15 different tools; the most named were in 4 of the 5 answers. Visibility is never one number for a brand; it is a number per question, per platform, per day.

How to measure it

  1. Write the questions your buyers ask, with the place in them.
  2. Ask each question on each platform and note whether you are named, and in what position.
  3. Divide the answers that name you by the answers in total. That is the score.
  4. Repeat every week. The answers change; the trend is the result.

By hand, the count takes a long time each week, so most businesses use a tool or check a small set of questions.
