How named.ae works
AI visibility is how often, and how prominently, an AI platform names your business when a buyer asks. named.ae asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok your buyers' questions, scores you out of 100 and builds a weekly Action Plan of moves. The score counts the answers that name you, with more points for being named first, and you can read every answer word for word with the pages the AI read.
The free scan does this once and gives you up to 10 moves.
Step 1: where the questions come from
We read your website and write the questions a buyer would type. A paid plan starts with 10 questions we write from your site. You can edit them and add your own, up to 25 per brand. The free scan writes and asks 5. For example: "best dental clinic in Dubai" or "which agency does AI search optimisation in the UAE".
You can add more questions in packs of 25.
A good question is one a buyer types before they spend money. Not your brand name. The question a stranger asks.
Step 2: the live answers
Each question goes to all 5 AI platforms at the time of the scan. You pay no extra price per platform. When your country is set, we ask each question with that country.
We keep every answer word for word. Under each answer we list the pages that platform read before it answered.
Not every answer comes from the web. Each platform decides for itself, one question at a time, whether to look on the web before it answers. Our own research shows how much this differs. On 7 October 2026 we asked 150 questions. Perplexity cited at least one page in all 150 answers, ChatGPT in 147, Grok in 145, Gemini in 132 and Claude in 104.
So the report shows, answer by answer, which pages were read.
Step 3: how the score is counted
Your score counts the answers that name your brand, weighted by where you appear: named first earns full points, named lower down or without a clear place earns fewer. An answer that names you only to warn the reader against you counts 0, because the score measures how often the platforms recommend you. The report still shows that answer. A free scan has 25 answers: 5 questions on 5 platforms. If you are named first in 5 of them, your score is 20 out of 100.
When a platform is down, its answers are left out of the count and the report marks them. Example: one platform is down for all 5 questions. That leaves 20 answers. If you are named first in 5 of those 20, your score is 25 out of 100.
An AI model, used as a judge, reads each answer and records whether you were named and where. You can open any answer and check where you were named.
We also record where you appear in each answer (first, third, last), which brands are named instead of you, and how often.
Step 4: the Google check
Every question is also checked on Google search: once on a free account, every week on a paid plan. For each question, we read Google's top 20 results and look for your site. We use your country when your site shows it, and google.com when it does not.
This check sits beside the AI answers, so you see both. Google is a search engine, not one of the 5 AI platforms. If your page falls three or more places on Google, the plan adds a move to get that place back.
Step 5: the Action Plan and the weekly loop
A move is one task: a page to publish, a site to be listed on, a fix to make. Every move says why it matters, the steps to take, and the address we check afterwards. It is also tagged developer, content or outreach, so you know who should do it. Every move comes with a clear instruction. One button sends it to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity. Your chatbot writes the text. You check it and publish it. You are responsible for what you publish.
Monitoring tells you the score. We tell you the moves.
| Free | Starter | Growth | Agency | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Questions | 5 | 25 | 25 per brand, up to 3 brands | 25 per brand, up to 5 brands |
| Live answers per scan | 25 | up to 125 | up to 375 | up to 625 |
| How often | once | every week | every week | every week |
| Moves | 3 | up to 10 a week | up to 20 a week per brand | up to 20 a week per brand |
| Competitors tracked | 3 | 5 | 10 per brand | 10 per brand |
| Instruction for your chatbot on every move | yes | yes | yes | yes |
When you mark a move as done, the next scan checks it. It is marked confirmed when a later scan sees the change, for example an AI platform citing the page, or naming you for the question the move is about. That shows the change was seen. It does not prove the move caused it. If nothing has changed, the report shows that too.
If you manage several client brands, each brand keeps its own questions, score and plan. On the Agency plan you can send each client a share link to their report, with your agency's name and colour on it. See named.ae for agencies. Prices for every plan are on plans and prices.
Methodology
We measure your brand and our own research in the same way.
For our research we asked 150 questions to all 5 platforms on 7 October 2026, as a buyer in the UAE. The run gave 750 answers. Every brand named in any answer was counted by the same rules. The full data is in our research on 150 questions to 5 AI platforms.
We use each platform's API, so an answer can differ from the app on your phone. Answers also change from day to day. A scan is one sample, which is why paid plans scan every week.
Numbers from our scans carry the date of the scan. Prices of other tools on this site come from their own pricing pages, with the date we read them.
Limits
Nobody can promise what ChatGPT says, or when: the AI platforms read the web on their own schedule. The weekly scan shows the trend either way, including when nothing moves.
Here is what the scan does not do. It runs once a week, not every day. It asks up to 25 questions per brand unless you add a pack. It does not track Google AI Overviews or AI Mode. It works in English only. And API answers can differ from the answers in each platform's app.
If you want to understand what changes an answer, our guide on how to get recommended by ChatGPT covers it.
Questions people ask
How are the questions written?
We read your website and write the questions a buyer would type, using your services and your place. A paid plan starts with 10 questions we write from your site. You can edit them and add your own, up to 25 per brand. The free scan writes and asks 5.
How is the AI visibility score calculated?
named.ae asks your questions on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok. An AI model, used as a judge, reads each answer and records whether your brand is named and in which position. The score is counted from those readings, out of 100: named first earns full points, named lower down earns fewer, an answer that names you only to warn against you counts 0, and platforms that did not answer are left out. You can open every answer word for word and check it yourself.
Does every answer use web search?
No. Each platform decides for itself, question by question, whether to search the web before it answers. The report shows which pages were read for each answer.
Why did my score change when I changed nothing?
The AI platforms give different answers on different days, so one scan is one sample. Paid plans ask the same questions every week, so you see the trend across many answers, not one number.
Why does the ChatGPT app give me a different answer?
We ask each platform through its API, which can use a different model or settings from the app on your phone. We record exactly what each platform returned, word for word, and the weekly scan shows the trend.
Does named.ae also check Google?
Yes. Every question is also checked on Google search: once on a free account, every week on a paid plan. For each question, we read Google's top 20 results and look for your site. Google is a search engine, so it is shown beside the 5 AI platforms, not counted as a sixth one.
What is the difference between the free scan and a paid plan?
The free scan asks 5 questions once, on all 5 platforms, and gives you up to 10 moves. A paid plan asks up to 25 questions per brand every week, tracks your score and your competitors, and rebuilds the Action Plan each week.
Do you write the text for each move?
Not on Free, Starter, Growth or Agency. Every move comes with a clear instruction. One button sends it to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity. Your chatbot writes the text. You check it and publish it. You are responsible for what you publish. If you want our team to write and publish the text for you, see AI visibility services.
How often does named.ae scan?
The free plan scans once. Starter, Growth and Agency scan every week, for each brand.
Does named.ae ask the questions for my country?
Yes, when your brand's country is set. named.ae then asks every question with that country, so you see the answers that buyers in your country see.
What if an AI platform is down on scan day?
Its answers are left out of the score, and the report marks them. The score is counted from the answers that came back.
See it on your own website
The free scan asks 5 of your buyers' questions on all 5 AI platforms. Run it on your own business, or on one client brand if you run an agency. Free, no card, 2 to 3 minutes. The score and every answer show without an account; a free account keeps the report.
